For inspiration for AdHack Assignment #4, I present the 8-bit dynamic life shirt, a way to show how your sweetheart enlivens your life.

The shirts are meant to be bought and worn in pairs. Here’s how it work. Wear your shirt. Get your main squeeze to wear theirs. When you’re apart, your shirt’s heart (life) readout is 2.5 hearts. Get closer to each other and the hearts increase to full life.

Full life is granted at 2 meters, a little too far for my taste, not even close enough to slow dance. But the shirts are from Think Geek, so maybe that’s geek close.

Assignment #4: your best romance, please

In case you missed it in the Alphanaut Roundup, AdHack Assignment #4 has been announced.

…in the Valentine’s spirit, we present AdHack Assignment #4: make an ad for the best romance item you ever received (or gave or wished you’d given or that you heard about over a glass of wine). Was it something that helped someone through a rough Valentine’s? Something that sealed the romantic deal? Something that wooed someone just right?

I know. It’s quite a challenge. But I think you’re up for it.

Devote some creative energy to finding the root of what makes that thing so remarkable. Is it just plain better than anything else? Surprising? Delighting? Did it change everything?

We don’t want to wreck any happy relationships out there, so feel free to use pseudonyms to protect the innocent, or not-so-innocent.
